Join a well-established Chartered Accounting firm as a Senior Team Administrator supporting a busy Business Services division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public practice administrator ready to step into a leadership-focused role, mentoring junior team members while managing high-level client administration, invoicing and workflow coordination.
This position would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong stakeholder relationships and continually improving systems and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the administration function for the Business Services team, coordinating workflow across onshore and offshore administration teams while allocating work and monitoring turnaround times.
- Mentor, train and support junior administrators, fostering a collaborative team environment and maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
- Manage client correspondence, coordinate client onboarding and engagement documentation, and act as the first point of contact for complex administrative enquiries.
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process, including WIP reviews with Partners and Managers, invoice preparation, debtor management and maintaining accurate billing records.
- Provide high-level administrative support to Partners and Managers through scheduling, reporting and practice administration while driving continuous improvement of systems, processes and efficiencies.

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' administration experience within a public practice accounting or professional services environment.
- Previous experience as a Senior Administrator, Team Administrator, Client Services Administrator or Personal Assistant, with strong invoicing and Work in Progress (WIP) management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to coordinate workflow and support the development of junior team members.
- Exceptional organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using practice management software such as FYI or similar highly regarded.
